The medical biology knowledge assessment examination prepares students for careers in medicine and health, underscoring the importance of biology across all sciences and technology. It aims to elevate Thai students’ biological potential for international competition. The objective is to promote and develop primary and secondary biology education in Thailand, preparing students for international academic arenas. It also encourages students to systematically create their own foundational knowledge for future academic skill competitions, thus systematically enhancing learning outcomes, reinforcing curriculum-aligned knowledge and skills, and fostering the development of future global students.

02 Expected learning outcomes

1. To improve capability limit of each student on the next generation of academic skills.
2. To allow students to merge into next generation activities for confident and successful initiation mindset.

03 Schedule for the examination January 24, 2026 from 10:00 - 12:00

Level of the examinations:
Primary school grade 4 – 6 (Prathomsuksa 4 – 6)
Junior High School Grade 7 – 9 (Mattayomton 1 – 3)
Senior High School Grade 10 – 12) (Mattayomplai 4 – 6)

Road map and future goal achievement

Students who are able to receive the appropriate awards and rankings in the final round will be able to participate in the academic and innovation camp activities to learn and cultivate about the principles of biology and medicine in depth. The extra opportunity to go deeper and also get involve in medical research, to upskill a guideline for research and relevant issues in collaboration with international students who participated in the Thailand International Biology & Medical Olympiad Challenge (TIBMOC). In the camp, there will be activities to learn at a higher level, both in lecture and practical workshops, such as Cell Biology, Molecular Cell Biology, Medical Microbiology, Next Generation Topics in Medicine, etc.
